We’re on Video!

We are officially on our way on a short road trip as far north as we can drive. Our first stop was with our friends Mihály and Fátima from Trailers and Cigarettes.  We will write about this talented couple in our next post, but Mihály, being his talented self, was able to put together a video about our van (and us), so we wanted to share it with you all.

So without further ado, here is a rare appearance in the flesh.  I hope you enjoy it!

Hey! You’re stars! The video is great. I’m sure many people will be impressed enough to want to try out something in that line. It’s the perfect way to travel. And I got to hear your voices. Well done 👍

I love everything about this production. I had several questions about your van before that have now been answered. I could go on and on about all of the cool things that you’ve done to your space. Perhaps my favorite was the surprise of learning that you’ve got a kayak on board.

What I most love about your story is your sense of adventure. The notion that you take off with a rough plan of where you’re going with the freedom to get immersed into something unexpected along the way appeals to me.

You are the ultimate team with Tony’s contractor skills put to use in solving many physical van issues combined with Margie’s creative writing ability to chronicle your adventures.

My compliments to Mihaly for this production as I feel like I have a much better idea now of how you make this all work. When I blogged about you before, I subscribed to his channel, and we exchanged emails. I can tell what a good guy he is. I look forward to getting to learn more about Fatima and Mihaly in the near future. Until then, happy trails!

great video; such an efficient use of space, and your modifications made it even better. Do you do anything special for Internet access, or just use cellular service?

Loved the opportunity to see your van setup! Also loved hearing your voices for the first time.

We’re with you on the ability to get in the driver’s seat and go. When we go full-time we’ll be looking at a van, also.

Currently we’re thinking about purchasing a Casita so we can extend our camping season here in the hot humid months of summer. Then we’d be able to more long weekend or 7 day getaways. There’s just no doing it in our little SUV without the benefit of air conditioning.

PS .. You’re going to be big Youtube stars now!

Thanks!…and big stars is what we were going for 🙂 We were thinking of a Casita as well but couldn’t find any close to us. Then we decided to go with the van and found this one. We do love it! Looks like your SUV is serving you well, I love reading about your adventures!

We would love to hear from you!
