We had to share with you the new addition to our family. We have a Grandpuppy, and suddenly, these travel restrictions became much more painful…
Our new grandpuppy is 1,500 miles away across a closed border. We can’t visit her (we already came to accept that we can’t visit our daughter, but this?), we can’t hold her or play with her.
We can’t interfere with her training.
This sucks.
Also, she reminds us of Emma. Another pull on the heartstrings.
Adorable!
In the meantime, nameless Grandpuppy is looking for a name.
Any thoughts?

My heart melted looking with photos of your puppy. <3 Don't know why, but "Nero" or "Nina" suits her. But it's ultimately your choice!
Nina is cute! It’s also the name of a good friend of ours so it may be a bit awkward 🙂
Such a cute puppy. Have no name choices. I am sure your family will pick a great name.
Thank you! We’re in love 🙂
Cutest doggy ever! Love the last pic of the “sploot” 🙂
I know, right? just so cute!
What an adorable baby! Congrats. Whatever name is chosen will require careful consideration. Good luck!
True! She reminds me so much of Emma when she was a baby!
aw, she is such a doll!
She really is! Thanks!
Well …. at least until she is paper trained you could call her “Spot”
I’m sure she will respond accordingly 😉
Aww, that is so cute 🙂
Ouch! That’s brutal! Not being able to see a new puppy falls into the cruel and unusual punishment territory.
Doesn’t it?
that’s a cute puppy; I hope you get to see her soon!
Thanks, Jim! I hope so too!
Oh no! You’re going to miss her sweet puppy breath! That’s just wrong on so many levels. 🙁 She looks like a Gizmo to me with those great eyebrows!
I know! Gizmo is a great name!
Oh my ..so adorable.
Grandpuppy is a real cutey.
She really is! I wish we can actually see her (and our daughter)!
