We have thousands of photos. Most never left the safety of my hard drive, sitting there gathering digital dust. It’s time to release them — one by one — to you.
We will publish (roughly) once a week, one photo at a time (mostly of places, but there may be some people or events), along with one paragraph about it. We hope that you’ll enjoy these photos as much as we do.
So to start, we’ll break these few self-imposed rules (we already wrote several paragraphs instead of just one) and this time we’ll share two photos with you.
One of little Tony
(so cute) the horse looks pissed off.
and one of little Margie
(so determined) the horse also looks pissed off.
Tony is still cute and I am still determined (not much has changed).
Both pictures were taken at the same place at slightly different times, but we didn’t really know each other then. Tony’s uncle had a horse farm and Tony would visit often to ride there. My dad had a buddy from the army that had a horse farm and he would take me to ride there. Same guy. Same farm.
Fast forward about 10 years and we were a couple. No surprise we ended up on a small horse farm of our own. Please note that leg position, footwear, and head protection improved drastically since those early days.
We hope this will inspire you to share old photos that would otherwise never see the light of day!
Great idea! Kodak moments for sure.
Thanks! More moments to come!
Oh the innocence! 😉
Yes, Tony was innocent for sure 😉
What an inspiration to kick off the weekend with such pawsitively reaffirming snaps! And what a coincidence! Waiting for my mom to share a few clicks from the past – let’s call it a ‘blast from the past’?! Will be sharing soon! Thanks for the kindle, and happy to stay connected and learn during this journey of growth!
Thanks for joining, and I’m looking forward to your blast from the past 🙂
Thank you for sharing your photos. You ‘ve got the beginnings of a romance novel here, haha!😎
Haha, indeed! This would make one crazy romance novel. Harlequin would not approve 🙂
so you were already digital at the time, well ahead of the game. 😉
If you consider slides digital than yes. Good old scanner to the rescue! I promise that most of the future photos will have only digital dust and not actual dust on them 🙂
I guess you two were just meant to be a couple!
I’m assuming there was lots of horsing around when you started dating… 🙂
You bet!
Great post! Looking forward for more!
Thanks, Ariela!
