[One Photo At A Time] An Introduction

We have thousands of photos.  Most never left the safety of my hard drive, sitting there gathering digital dust.  It’s time to release them — one by one — to you.

We will publish (roughly) once a week, one photo at a time (mostly of places, but there may be some people or events), along with one paragraph about it.  We hope that you’ll enjoy these photos as much as we do.

So to start, we’ll break these few self-imposed rules (we already wrote several paragraphs instead of just one) and this time we’ll share two photos with you.

One of little Tony

(so cute) the horse looks pissed off.

and one of little Margie

(so determined) the horse also looks pissed off.

Tony is still cute and I am still determined (not much has changed).

Both pictures were taken at the same place at slightly different times, but we didn’t really know each other then.  Tony’s uncle had a horse farm and Tony would visit often to ride there.  My dad had a buddy from the army that had a horse farm and he would take me to ride there.  Same guy.  Same farm.

Fast forward about 10 years and we were a couple.  No surprise we ended up on a small horse farm of our own.  Please note that leg position, footwear, and head protection improved drastically since those early days.

We hope this will inspire you to share old photos that would otherwise never see the light of day!

What an inspiration to kick off the weekend with such pawsitively reaffirming snaps! And what a coincidence! Waiting for my mom to share a few clicks from the past – let’s call it a ‘blast from the past’?! Will be sharing soon! Thanks for the kindle, and happy to stay connected and learn during this journey of growth!

We would love to hear from you!
