We have many blurry or badly composed photos that we cherish. The reality is that we can’t stop every time we see something interesting, beautiful, or just memorable. We do stop a lot, but sometimes we need to set some boundaries or we’ll never get anywhere. Drive-by shooting to the rescue — in many cases through our dirty windshield. It’s not about the photograph, but rather it’s about capturing the moment. This photo takes us back to the top of Mesa Verde and a magical moment just before the sun set.
Beautiful.
Thank you!
Boom! Good one
I love the movement in this photo, even though it was only us and the clouds moving 🙂
Ah – drive by shootings. I take a lot of those, because my husband will never stop. Beautiful picture and there are times when the drive by shootings turn out gorgeous.
Right? I have some that I simply love!
Love that pic. Keep driving and shooting.
Thanks! And we will!
The mix of light and dark in that photo is superb. Wouldn’t it be wonderful it we could find a magical place like that each day?
Thanks, Pete! It would be wonderful, but there is more of it around us than we are aware of!
Lovely…
Thank you!
the photos are all about the memories, not the quality of the image…
Exactly!
I know the feeling, so many photos stay in my eyes and never made it to the memory card.
I just snap as we go and hope I was able to capture something.
I can relate. The worst is when you think you managed to take a really good picture of something while driving by, only to realize later that it’s completely blurry. Either way, still captures the memory.
Yeah, this is is in many cases the unfortunate outcome 🙂
