One Photo At A Time – Suspended

Don’t we all feel suspended? This photo of a bird in flight seems as if it’s suspended, and it it for many milliseconds during flight.  The end result is a forward movement and a destination.  This is how we choose to look at this temporary suspension.  It will be over.

One of the things that bothered me a bit about the recent photo challenge was having to choose only 10 bloggers to nominate.  We therefore decided to just mention bloggers that we follow and like, with no strings attached.  Will you go and take a look at Ingrid’s Live Laugh RV blog?  She has some amazing posts and very beautiful photography!

Your photo is the perfect metaphor for life right now—it’s suspended for a time, but all we can hope to do is get through it with our dignity and kindness in tact.

There are two reasons I don’t typically (though I have occasionally) participate in these blogging pass it on things: (1) Like you, I don’t want someone to feel slighted who I don’t nominate. (2) While the gesture is nice, not everyone appreciates the friendly peer pressure.

On the other hand, I NEVER do these via Facebook. I have no problem ignoring those “I’ll bet you don’t post this guilt trips.” It’s like putting conditions on your friends—drives me nuts!

    Happy holidays, Margie and Tony!

Thank you so much for thinking of me and complementing my photography. Unfortunately, I’ll need to take a pass on the challenge. The timing just isn’t right for me and I’m on a bit of a blogging break … dealing with holidays, life, etc.
Hope you have a great Christmas and I’ll see you in the New Year when I will hopefully jump back into the blogosphere. 🎄

Oh, Ingrid, this is not part of a challenge! Just mentioning you for the sake of mentioning you with no strings attached! This is my final rebellion against challenges of all kinds 🙂 Have a wonderful Christmas and a wonderful new year!

We would love to hear from you!
