We are dogsitting Gracie, our niece’s puppy. She was going to stay with us for a month to keep the hostages company, but of course Covid swept in and changed everyone’s plans and we’ll have her only for a week.
We’ll take it.
It was really nice to wake up to puppy kisses!
The girl hostage took this cute photo.
Puppy kisses are the best.
Our little Ruby sometimes wakes us up with a song. Nothing like a pack howl to get you ready for the day!
Haha, that’s a great way to start your day! We missed that…
It helps to have a pack. Ruby always starts it, but then everyone else joins in – including Mark and I. Most therapeutic! 🙂
Haha, I now have a very nice visual in my head of all of you howling. Thanks 🙂
You need one of your own.
I know! It’s been a couple of years since we lost our dog…
My husband and I traveled via motor home and then van for 13 years, doing art and craft shows. We loved it. Our last trip together brought us to Mexico and unfortunately he passed away before we could make our second trip back to the house we bought on the first trip. Good for you for getting your traveling days in as early as possible. It’s a nice life.
I am so sorry that you lost your husband before you could both enjoy the new house and country, but glad you were able to make new beginnings on your own. This is my biggest fear…It’s never early enough…
Well, you are doing it, so good for you. I’m following your adventures now.
Glad to have you here 🙂
Ah. Sorry. That is so hard. I’ve lost so many over the years but a new one always pops up in its place. Not the same, but equally dear.
So true! A special one will come our way again I’m sure!
These things can be addictive. Especially for empty nesters.
Oh for sure!
That’s the best scenario for a dog fix. Temporary puppy love without the responsibility for the next 14 years.
You have read my mind 🙂
That face… I can already see myself overlooking naughty deeds because it is filled with love.
Very true! We are overlooking the fact that she managed in less than 24 hours to destroy all of Emma’s toys 🙂
great photo; what a nice way to wake up…
Credit goes to the hostage, and yes it was fun 🙂
Adorable!
She is!
Awwwwww!!!
🙂
Only 4 words describe this picture: A. DOR. A. BLE!
Haha, I can think of a few more, but this really sums it up 🙂
So precious! I have a soft spot for puppies, and you can bet that I go “goo goo ga ga” over their adorableness. <3
I was counting on you goo goo ga ga 🙂
Keep her! She’s so cute❤️
LOL, the hostages are devising a plan as we speak 🙂
Such a look from this little dog.
I know! she is precious!
