Sushilizing

It was our wedding anniversary on Saturday and we treated ourselves to takeout Sushi platters.

This was out first take out meal form a “real” restaurant in over a year.  The hostages sushilized with us, and between the four of us we wolfed down an impressive amount of sushi in no time.

Sushi deprivation is no joke!

What an impressive spread! Another year in the books and you’re young enough to enjoy retirement. I’m typing this from our Springer family reunion in Minnesota overlooking Lake Superior.

Sushi is one of my favorite foods ever. Your platter is ENORMOUS, and it’s incredible you all manage to finish everything! Hope you had them with plenty of wasabi!

Haha, it also came with a small salad and miso soup. a ping pong ball size glob of wasabi and a huge amount of ginger 🙂 truth be told we had some leftovers for a repeat sushi party the next day, which was equally good. I love sushi so much!

I haven’t seen anything so beautiful since before the world shut down. Seriously, never thought I would use the word “sexy” describe raw fish and rice, but I just did and have no regrets ????

Thats the one thing I miss most. There’s a superb sushi restaurant that is near where I live. I used to go with my friends, specifically one friend but they all learned about sushi from me with this place. Her and i would order about as much as you had in that picture and stuff our faces. There was ALWAYS exactly 2 pieces left which we always agreed would go to my husband (although we never could explain why, he likes sushi, but two random pieces we were too stuffed to eat? ????). I miss that.

We would love to hear from you!
