The Coronavirus Diaries – Salad Table

When life gives you a carpenter, make a salad table.  You can use a carpenter for other things as well, but for now let’s concentrate on the salad table.  Our friends Emma and Candy posted these plans taken from the University of Maryland Extension Home & Garden Information Center on What’s GrOwIn’ On? Facebook Page and Tony went to work right away.

He used new lumber and repurposed a mesh sheet that he found buried in the forest and wheels that we had from stainless steel shelvings that didn’t need them.

It took about two hour to complete at a leisurely pace.

We planted mesclun and green onions seeds and placed it in a sunny spot on the deck.  In the summer when it’s too sunny, we can move it to a shadier area.

Now we need the old seeds to sprout and sharpen our knives.
