We are spending a lot more time in the garden this year. We are also spending a lot of time watching birds.
This morning, I was watering the plants and a hummingbird kept coming for a shower. Later on I saw Terry Webster Weekly challenge “water”, so here is mine.
I wish I had a better video to share with you and you will need to watch in full screen because the hummer is tiny. It was just too cute to keep to ourselves!

Saw the humming bird. So cute.
I thought so too 🙂
They are the sweetest little birds❤️
They are!
We have different types of hummingbirds in our yard. It’s fun to watch them because the different species chase each other off. We call it “The Hummingbird Wars.”
I got your note. I’ll write you back tonight or tomorrow. Thank you.
We only have the ruby throated and they fight too! Looking forward to hearing back from you!
Sorry for the delay…your link didn’t work so I hunted it down on your home page. That is a great video of your hummer enjoying the water! We see a few birds bathing in our backyard sprinklers, too.
Thanks so much, Terri! Not sure how the link got truncated, but I can’t edit it 🙁 If you are able to edit it the correct link is: https://backroadsandotherstories.com/2020/05/24/coronaviru-diaries-too-cute-not-to-share/
Absolutely adorable! We have a few residents somewhere in the neighborhood. They start to visit as soon as the Barbados Cherry and Pomegranates begin to blossom. They don’t stick around long. They are pretty much dine-and-dash visitors. I find it fascinating that you were able to catch this little one on film. Thanks for sharing!
We have them through spring summer and fall! Love them! Barbados Cherry and Pomegranates sound so exotic 🙂
