When I look at this photo it takes me back to a very long walk on a California beach. I walked for many miles. A relaxing, but interesting walk due to the abundance of curious characters one can find on a California beach. A few minutes later everything calmed down again because someone started feeding the birds, the jogger was out of sight, and the kids were playing in the sand. Sometimes a photo represents a suspended moment surrounded with something completely different.
A beautiful place full of peace and activity. 🙏🏽
Perfect description!
Thanks! I could use some beach time right about now 🙂
Amen to that!😉
❤
Great photo. Reminds me of the Galveston Beech in the gulf.
Thanks! The beach vibe transcends over oceans 🙂
The composition of the photo, with all these birds are a good association with the title ‘chaos’, there is like a threat suspended in the air.
Good observation 🙂 It does come across chaotic, but for me it was a relaxing bliss!
I’m guessing this is close to Santa Cruz as I think I see some amusement park rides in the background. I have to agree with your assessment of California beaches—-interesting characters—you never know who you’re going to meet.
This was approaching the Santa Monica Pier. There were so many interesting people to observe!
The only thing missing is us. Beer and shrimp at sunset.
You are so right!
what a great picture of the birds, the jogger, the beach, the ferris wheel. nice job capturing a moment in time…
Thanks, Jim!
I recognized this photo as being from the Santa Monica Pier! Such a lovely place, and it’s in my hometown! Very true that there are way too many birds at the beach haha. Thanks for sharing!
It is! There was a guy feeding the birds and I’m sure he is not the only one so no wonder they keep coming back 🙂 You are so lucky to live by the ocean!
Nice to meet you, Tony and Margie. A very appropriate title for this photo. I can (almost) hear the birds. I agree, “a suspended moment…” I look forward to reading and learning more about you. 🙂Erica
Nice to meet you too, Erica! Looking forward to your posts as well!
